Synopsis:

In one of his early film roles Jude Law (Cold Mountain, Alfie) stars in the charming romantic comedy 'Music From Another Room', previously unavailable on DVD. The film’s strong supporting cast includes Gretchen Moll, (Rounders), Jennifer Tilly (The Cat’s Meow), Martha Plimpton (Running on Empty, Goonies) and Brenda Blethyn (Little Voice). Unaware of the impact it will have on his future, five year-old Danny is called upon in an emergency to help deliver a baby in a small American town. Fast-forward twenty-five years and Danny (Jude Law) arrives back in America after growing up in England whilst the tiny baby he delivered, Anna, is now a beautiful young woman (Gretchen Moll). Running into her accidentally, Danny is immediately smitten, and feels that they are destined to be together. But there is one problem: she’s already engaged and claims not to be interested in him at all. Undeterred, Danny goes out of his way to win Anna’s affections, and by doing so becomes involved with everyone in her large, eccentric family which includes mouthy feminist Karen (Martha Plimpton), blind and timid Nina (Jennifer Tilly), and highly strung mother (Brenda Blethyn) among others. Directed by Charlie Peters in 1998, 'Music from Another Room' is a delightful tale of passion and destiny that is sure to win you over.
